God Loves You!

God loves you. . . even when you don’t feel it. . . He does!
That’s because we can’t trust our own fickle human feelings. . . they are far from perfect and can lead us astray.
God, however, IS perfect. And when He says He loves us, He does. Far and above anything we can conceive.
Check out this verse from the Bible, God’s Love Letter to us, that tells us so:

“We love, because He (God) first loved us.” (I John 4:19)

Loving a God who loves you so very, very much is not really that difficult.
By the way, it doesn’t involve RELIGION, although many people would lead you to think this.
They say you have to follow a bunch of strict rules, do what’s right, in order for God to love you. WRONG.
That’s man’s way to God. Sounds good, but it’s not based on God’s truth.
God’s way to God involves RELATIONSHIP. A one-on-one, close and intimate relationship with the God of the Universe.
How do I initiate this relationship, you might ask?
It’s simple, simple as A-B-C.

A – Admit
ADMIT you are a sinner.
A sinner has broken God’s laws, and Adam’s sin is what broke our relationship with God in the first place.

What is sin? It’s “going my own way, instead of God’s way,” as He outlines in the Bible. These can be wrong actions and/or thoughts contrary to His Word.

God knew that every last one of us WOULD sin, many times over in our lifetimes. It’s a given. It’s our sin problem.
He knows this because the LORD GOD is Holy and Altogether without sin.
To admit your sin problem, you must tell God you know you have broken His rules–just tell Him out loud. He’ll hear you.
By the way, if you can’t acknowledge this fact about yourself, it’s a total deal-breaker.

Here’s another spot where many people also get it wrong: You don’t have to “clean up” and change your bad habits before you come to God. Just ADMIT it to Him–you’re a sinner. The cleaning up comes afterward and comes from the empowerment of HIS Spirit.

B – Believe
Next, BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, Who came down to earth to make a way for us to have a restored relationship with God the Father.
Jesus Christ lived a sinless life. This is deep, but think it through–Jesus came as the perfect, spotless sacrifice on the cross to pay for all those sins we’ve accumulated. Every last one.
Because Jesus IS GOD, He rose again on the third day after His sacrifice for our sins. He rose the victorious Savior, Who lives now forevermore!

BELIEVING means more than just intellectual knowledge of these facts in your head. It means you must believe it in your heart, so much so that you’d be willing to stake your life on it. God doesn’t play around, and He doesn’t want you to either.
Truly BELIEVE the truth of Jesus Christ in your HEART, and He will know.

C – Confess
You must CONFESS to God that since you know that Jesus is God and you are a sinner, you need Jesus to take care of the sin problem for you. Only He can do this! No one and nothing else!
Confess you are trusting in Jesus to shoulder your sins and remove them from you, because He is God. He is SAVIOR.
Confess to Him that you want a new life, a totally new relationship with Him. He is LORD.
Tell him. He will hear you.

If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.” (I John 4:15)

That’s it. You’ve received the gift of salvation He’s been holding out to you. If you have taken this step to begin a new relationship with God, would you please email me and let me know?

The Bible says the angels in heaven rejoice over one who does this, and I would be honored and humbled as well! If you tell me about your decision, I promise to pray for you in your brand new life.

You must and should CONFESS your new way of life to other people you know, too, especially other believers in Christ. Tell them what you’ve done. . . they will be so happy and will want to help you along in this new adventure.

Jesus is now your Forever Friend. He will never leave you or forsake you. Congratulations & may God truly bless!
